Traderight Dial Indicator Gauge Magnetic HW0166-BL
If you are looking for a magnetic base dial indicator, you are probably a mechanic or like to work on cars. Your new dial indicator will help you to measure all manner of parts in your car.
Use the magnetic clamp to latch your magnetic dial indicator onto a ferrous surface. The plunger should be at right angles to whatever you are measuring. Test and then make all the measurements you need.
Accurate measurements require absolute stability. Your dial gauge with magnetic stand can pull with 60kg of force. Look at the small gauge to take very fine measurements.
You can pick between 22 measurement probes. Use the shortest one for the measurement you need to produce the highest accuracy. Carry them all in the handy travel case.
Slide your measuring probes along the flat surface. Look at the dial indicator to see if the height varies or you have a truly flat bar of metal. When you need tight tolerances, you go to your magnetic base dial indicator.
